Winnie-the-Pooh:
Exploring a Classic

A multi-sensory exhibition celebrating a much-loved classic that brought joy to all ages.

For this celebration of A.A. Milne’s much-loved stories and E.H. Shepard’s charming illustrations, NewAngle worked with exhibition designers RFK Architects and theatre designer Tom Piper.

The variety of exhibits kept visitors of all ages entertained: a digital river projection let visitors stand on a bridge and play ‘Poohsticks’; a film of ‘Piglet does a Very Grand Thing’ was projected onto the ceiling; and an interactive touchscreen showed some of Milne’s first articles and books.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere of the Hundred Acre Wood was conjured up by a soundscape of buzzing bees, rain on umbrellas and wind whistling through the trees.
